Before joining the Panvel Municipal Corporation, she served as Registrar at the State Cooperative Appellate Court in Mumbai and later as Registrar in the S Division at Konkan Bhavan, Navi Mumbai. Her exemplary work at Konkan Bhavan earned her a certificate of appreciation from then Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, recognizing her commitment and efficiency in public service.

One of her notable contributions was ensuring that the names of women members of Ashirwad Cooperative Housing Society in Mulund were included on housing society share certificates under the Maharashtra Government’s women empowerment initiative.

In 2001, she received the prestigious Sakhi Puraskar from Lokmat for her outstanding contributions to modelling and photography.
