NYVO Launches India’s First Family Advisory Platform to Close the Investment Advisory Gap

~The new platform combines investments, goals and insurance into a single household financial plan through a fee-only advisory model

28th July 2026, Bengaluru: NYVO, a SEBI-registered investment adviser, today launched a financial planning platform built for Indian households. The fee-only platform brings together investments, goals and insurance into a single personalised financial plan, helping families understand where they stand and what to do next.

More Indians are investing today than ever before. The country now has over 5.3 crore active mutual fund investors, and starting a SIP or buying a fund has never been easier. Access, quite simply, is no longer the problem. What hasn’t kept pace is the advice.

For most families, good advice still isn’t within reach. Truly personalised guidance has been built for the top 1% – delivered in person by private wealth managers, and locked behind steep minimum investment amounts. The other 99% of India is left to a product-commission-first approach: apps and distributors that nudge people toward the next “high-return” fund, but rarely ask the question that matters – is this right for your family’s goals? There’s no good reason it should be this way, and the result is a country full of investors but very little real advice.

NYVO is built to change that. By removing the minimum ticket size, it makes high-quality, goal-based advice available to any household – ₹1 lakh or ₹1 crore – for less than ₹100 a month. As a SEBI-registered adviser, NYVO offers both advice and execution: families can connect their existing mutual funds, see how they map to their goals, and act right on the platform – with every recommendation built around the family’s goals, not what pays the platform.

Commenting on the launch, Harsh Soni, Founder and CEO at NYVO Money, said, “I’ve spent over 16 years in finance and even I struggled to invest for my own goals – something as simple as my kids’ college fund. Apps have solved access; anyone can invest today. What we’re solving is the advice – putting the right guidance in your pocket, so families invest for their goals, not the next hot product.”

Kshitij Jain, Cofounder and COO at NYVO Money, said, “In investment management, only one thing truly matters – getting your asset allocation right, in line with your goals. Everything else is noise. That’s the problem NYVO exists to solve.”

NYVO’s approach is powered by an in-house asset allocation model and mutual fund rating engine. Rather than just tracking past fund performance, it reads a wide range of market signals – which sectors are moving, which segments are better positioned – alongside a rigorous view of fund quality, so it can recommend the right changes for each household’s goals, not react to last year’s returns.

More than a new product, NYVO wants to change how India invests. The debate over commission versus no-commission has run for years – but it misses the point. What actually changes a family’s financial life is getting the right advice at the right time. That is what NYVO is built to deliver.

About NYVO

NYVO is a Bengaluru-based SEBI-registered investment adviser built for Indian households. It brings a family’s investments, insurance, goals and cash flows into a single financial plan, tells them what to do next, and lets them execute in mutual funds right on the platform – powered by NYVO’s own asset allocation model and mutual fund rating engine. NYVO charges a flat annual fee and earns nothing from the products it recommends, keeping advice independent of sales incentives. The platform works on read-only access via RBI’s Account Aggregator framework.

NYVO is founded by Harsh Soni and Kshitij Jain. Harsh is an ex-investment banker who has worked at Bank of America, Kotak and SBICAPS, and was most recently CFO of the fintech-turned-bank slice. Kshitij is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad, and has worked at BCG and slice.
